Sync Style across a Group
Sync Style copies one project’s look to every other project in its Group, so a set of screenshots matches without editing each one.
#Sync a Group’s style
-
Open the Group.
-
Choose Sync Style. On iPhone, it’s at the bottom of the screen. On iPad and Mac, touch and hold or Control-click the Group in the sidebar, then choose Sync Style.
-
Choose the Style Source: the project whose look you want to copy.
-
Tap or click Apply. The button shows how many projects will change, or Already Matching if none will.
#What’s copied
Sync Style copies the background, the shadow and the canvas size. Each project keeps its own device, color and position.
An App Store canvas size becomes the right App Store size for each project’s device, so a Group can mix iPhone and iPad screenshots. Projects that can’t use the canvas, such as screen recordings and rows of devices, keep their own.
Sync Style applies once. Changes you make to the source project later aren’t copied automatically, so run Sync Style again to update the Group.
