Frame screenshots
Frame from the share sheet
On iPhone and iPad, you can frame a screenshot straight from the share sheet, in Photos or any app that shares images. It’s framed in the look you last used in Frames and saved to your photo library.
#Frame a screenshot from the share sheet
-
In Photos, or another app, open the screenshot, then tap the Share button.
-
Tap Frame in Frames. If you don’t see it, scroll to the end of the row of apps, tap More, then find Frames.
-
Check the preview, then tap Save.
The framed screenshot is saved to your photo library. To make changes first, such as choosing a different background, add the screenshot in the Frames app instead. See Frame a screenshot.
Note: Images framed from the share sheet are exported at up to 2048 pixels on the longest side. App Store canvas sizes are always exported at Apple’s exact size. See Export size and resolution.
