Export and share
Share or save an image
When a project looks right, share it from the editor or straight from your library. The image you share is exactly what the preview shows.
#Share from the editor
- On iPhone or iPad: Tap the Share button at the top of the editor, then choose what to do, such as Save Image to add it to your photo library, Save to Files, Copy, or an app such as Messages or Mail.
- On Mac: Click the Share button in the toolbar, then choose a destination. To save the image as a file, choose Save to Finder, then choose where to save it.
#Share from your library
Touch and hold a project, or Control-click it on Mac, then choose Share, or choose Copy to copy the framed image.
#What you get
- Format: PNG, unless you’ve turned on Export as JPEG in Settings. Transparent backgrounds are always PNG. See PNG, JPEG and transparency.
- Size: Up to 2048 pixels on the longest side without Frames Pro, or the device’s full resolution with it. App Store canvas sizes are always Apple’s exact size. See Export size and resolution.
- Name: The file is named after the project.
For screen recordings, Share also offers Export Video and Export GIF. See Export as a video or GIF.
