Privacy
Frames works on your device and needs no account. Your screenshots stay with you: nothing is sent to the developer, and iCloud sync keeps your projects in your own iCloud account.
#Your screenshots
Screenshots and images you add stay on your device and are used only to make framed images. They’re never sent to the developer or anyone else. Frames doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
#iCloud
With iCloud on, your projects are kept in the private area of your own iCloud account so they appear on your other devices. The developer receives no copy and can’t see them. Screen recording video stays on the device that imported it. See Sync across your devices.
#Your photo library
Frames normally uses the system photo picker, which hands over only the image you choose, so no permission is needed.
Quick Frame is the exception. To find your newest screenshot, Frames asks for photo access the first time you use Quick Frame on iPhone or iPad, and reads only that screenshot. If you decline, Quick Frame uses the picker instead. On Mac, Quick Frame reads the source you choose in Settings: a folder you pick, or your photo library.
Frames adds to your photo library only when you ask it to save an image.
#Your music
On iPhone and iPad, the background can use the artwork of whatever you’re playing in Music. Frames asks for access the first time you choose it, and reads only that artwork. What you listen to, your library and your playback are never read, stored or sent anywhere.
#Purchases
Frames Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, and Frames never sees your payment details, your name or your Apple Account.
#Read the full policy
