Frames Pro

Your 3 free Pro exports

Before you buy anything, Frames gives you 3 free Pro exports. There’s no time limit and nothing to cancel, so an unused one is still there months from now.

#What a free Pro export covers

One free Pro export is one of the following:

  • A screen recording exported as a video
  • A screen recording exported as a GIF
  • One image exported at full resolution, with Export at Full Resolution (Save at Full Resolution on Mac)

Free Pro exports don’t cover importing several screenshots at once, exporting a whole Group, or rows of several devices. Those need Frames Pro.

#When one is used

A free Pro export is used only when the file is actually saved or shared. If you cancel an export, or close the share sheet without sending anything, it isn’t used.

Ordinary sharing never uses one. Sharing, Quick Frame, the share sheet and Shortcuts always export at up to 2048 pixels without Frames Pro, so your free Pro exports are only spent when you choose to.

#See how many you have left

Open Settings in Frames, then look at Frames Pro. The count is also shown when you’re about to use one, such as in the Canvas section of the editor.

Your count is kept in your iCloud account, so it’s the same on all your devices, and reinstalling Frames doesn’t change it.
