Troubleshooting
If projects aren’t syncing
Frames syncs your projects, Groups and presets with iCloud automatically. If something isn’t showing up on another device, check these.
#Check when Frames last synced
Open Settings in Frames and look below the About section:
- Last sync, with a time: Sync is working. New changes can take a few moments to arrive.
- Not yet synced with iCloud: Frames hasn’t completed a sync yet. Keep Frames open for a moment with an internet connection.
- Not synced. iCloud is unavailable on this device: Frames can’t reach iCloud. Check the settings below.
#Check iCloud on each device
On every device:
-
Make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple Account.
-
Make sure iCloud Drive is turned on.
-
Make sure Frames is allowed to use iCloud. On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud. On Mac, go to System Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
-
Make sure your iCloud storage isn’t full.
#Give it a moment
Projects sync in the background. Open Frames on both devices, with a connection, and wait a little. A large library can take longer the first time.
#Some things don’t sync
Screen recording video, settings, and your last-used look stay on each device. See What syncs and what doesn’t.
