If a project was made in a newer version of Frames

If the editor says “Made in a newer version of Frames. Update to edit this project without losing its look,” the project was last changed on a device with a newer version of Frames.

#Why it happens

Your projects sync between devices through iCloud. A newer version of Frames can save looks that an older version doesn’t understand yet. Rather than change the project and lose part of its look, the older version tells you.

#Update Frames

Update Frames on this device from the App Store. On iPhone or iPad, open the App Store, tap your account picture, then update Frames. On Mac, open the App Store and click Updates.

After updating, the project opens with its full look.
